Pumpkin Carving

Every October 31, people show their abilities of carving.

These are some examples of how people came about doing it. in the above images are 1,000 Pound pumpkins that were carved by the staff of google.

 

 The other pictures are of pumpkins that have won compotitions. These one were carved from nearly takeing the skin completeily off to make their creation.

 I find these pumpkins very cool and hope u do too.

BMW M1



This is the new BMW M1 that is supposed to look very much like the older retro cars that were made before.

This car is different from the others that i posted because it will be mass produced. The car is runs on a diesel engine and the body was disigned by clay artist to see what they could provide with their imagination. As you can see, the outcome was great with a 50+ gas mileage.

BMW Lovos

The BMW Lovos is the newest idea of coming from the concept department. The only model made is this slightly over 2 foot peice. Its design is to allow the air resistance to move many flaps on the car up or down at different speeds. What makes this design so difficult is that these flaps blend with the car at high speeds and allowing that meens disconectig from the wheels to the body. Anne Forschner, a 24 year old girl fresh out of colledge in Germany. She felt it was a good way to put her philosophical idea into work

Thor

This week I watched the movie thor and over all I enjoyed the movie. If you are a die hard MARVAL fan, this might not be your kind of movie. The story line is way off from the origanal, but i still found it cool and quite humorus.

Car sculpture

 Cars are always presented to the owners of the company before they begin any kind of preduction. instead of takeing the expensive way and creating a fully drivable car that wont be driven, as well as needing to create brand new custom parts. It is cost affective to create a clay body around a metal frame for the owners to see.

Car companies pay artist to sculpt the bodys of the car by following sertain dementions and pictures given to them by the digital artist. It is much less expencive to do all this and transport the model around the world for the bosses and the media.

This film impressed me with its SGI graphis. The film was full of battle senes and explosions. it was surprising to see that the story was still interesting in the end and i really enjoyed it.

This is a contuation of the 3rd game and is taking place east from rome. Ezio embarks on a new adventure to find the secerets of his past. The graphics and effects will be awsome.
